The upcoming generation of the Opel Astra has leaked all over the web in a few image which are completely revealing its exterior and interior design.
If you are curious to see how the new Opel Astra generation will be looking like, than you have come to the right place because the model has leaked out all over the web, ahead of an imminent online reveal which will be followed by the public debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September. The popular compact car will have nothing in common with the current version as the conservative design has been ditched in favor of these sharp lines. We can notice the new front grille, the repositioned side mirrors, the turn signals installed on the front fenders, a more sloped roofline and a new C pillar arrangement.
The 2016 Opel Astra is also using the IntelliLux LED matrix technology and at the rear, the LED taillights can be found. The cabin of the vehicle is now looking more upscale and most of the buttons and knobs have been replaced by the large touch screen display. This is basically the vehicle’s infotainment system which will be supporting the Apple Car Play and the Google Android Auto. The start/stop button is also noticeable, along with the electric parking brake, the new leather wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel, the metallic and glossy black accents and so on. Unfortunately we have no clue at this time what Opel will be using under the hood of the new compact car but stay tuned for a full photo gallery and details which should be released over the next few hours.
