Opel has officially announced the official starting price of its sub-compact hot hatch, the Corsa OPC, for the German auto market.

Officially unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Opel is placing the new Corsa OPC into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of its starting price, which has been announced. The model in question will be setting you back for 24,395 euros, VAT included, in Germany, which basically makes it cheaper than its predecessor, despite being 15 HP and up to 50 Nm more powerful. The OPC Performance Package is also available for the model, adding the 18-inch wheels with Michelin tires, the more focus chassis setup, the mechanical multi-disc differential lock and the Brembo braking system for 3,150 euros.

The new Opel Corsa OPC has also received an aggressive body kit, with a trunk lid spoiler, larger side skirts and a scoop on the hood. The interior design of the model is bringing the Recaro sport seats, the IntelliLink infotainment system and so on. Under its hood, we can find the 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged EcoTec engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 207 HP (152 kW) and a peak torque of 280 Nm (206 lb-ft). The unit is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission which is allowing the hot hatch to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 6.8 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).
