The most revealing images with the upcoming 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS have hit the web recently.
There is no surprise anymore on the development of a hotter version of the 911 GT3 by Porsche because the model in question, which will be known as the 911 GT3 RS, has been caught on camera several times by now by spy photographers over these past few months. But in between spotting such a morel with camouflage on its body and capturing it on camera completely naked, there is a huge difference, because the images posted below are the most revealing ones, up to date.
The 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS seems to have a familiar styling and this is logical, considering the fact that the company’s designers are quite lazy, and it will come with ventilated front fenders, with a large fixed rear wing, with a double bubble roof, front and rear spoilers made out of carbon fiber and several other tweaks which should make it instantly recognizable and different than its 911 GT3 brother.
The most important part of the new 911 GT3 RS will be found under its hood where, according to some recent reports, we will probably find the 4.0 liter naturally aspirated engine. The unit is believed to produce a total output of 500 HP (373 kW), connected only to a PDK. We are not sure on its performance at the time but this will be announced once the model will be officially presented to the public, probably during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, this March.
