Land Rover has recently announced a series of updates for the 2016 Range Rover Sport which is now becoming even hotter than before.
According to the British based automaker, the 2016 Range Rover Sport has been slightly updated and it has received more standard equipment. The company is stating that the InControl Remote has been renamed the InControl Protect and it will be automaticall contacting the emergency services in case of an accident. There is also the InControl Remote Premium service which will be allowing drivers to lock and unlock the vehicle, honk the horn, flash the lights and reset the alarm.
The 2016 Range Rover Sport is also packing the new standard All Terrain Progress Control, the Auto Access Height systems, the improved surround and rear cameras and so on. The model has received the new Carbon Fiber Pack too, which is adding some high gloss lacquer accents on the front grille, o nthe tailgate, on the side vents and on the side mirrors.
Customers living in the United States will be able to get the 3.0 liter Td6 turbo diesel V6 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 254 HP (189 kW) and 595 Nm (440 lb-ft) of torque, returning 24 mpg combined. Land Rover says that the SDV8 will be equipped with the start / stop system. Sadly no pricing details on the 2016 Range Rover Sport have been announced at this time and this will probably be made public over the next few weeks.
