The new generation of the Renault Megane has been spotted around on the public streets recently, where it has been driven.
After being officially shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, a couple of weeks ago, the new generation of the Renault Megane is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of an image which is showing it in the open, for the very first time. The model in question has been wearing a classic silver finish on its body and it has French license plates. Notice the sleek LED taillights, the completely redesigned rear end and the new wheels.
The 2016 Renault Megane has a different design in its front fascia as well, where we can notice the sweptback headlights, the prominent front grille and the LED daytime running lights, integrated into the headlamps. The model is also bringing a muscular profile and it is now lower and wider, with a longer wheelbase, compared to its predecessor. Some of the goodies found on the new compact car signed by Renault include the 7-inch TFT instrument cluster display, a full color head-up display, an R-Link 2 infotainment system with an 8.7-inch touch screen and so on. Under its hood, the 2016 Renault Megane has three dCi diesel units, with 90 HP (66 kW), 110 HP (81 kW) and 130 HP (96 kW), along with three TCe petrol units, with 100 HP (74 kW), 130 HP (96 kW) and 205 HP (151 kW).
