Skoda has officially announced the introduction of the new 2016 Fabia in Australia where the cheapest version can be yours from 15, 990 AUD.
For the money, customers will get the 66 TSI manual hatchback equipped with features such as the 5-speed manual transmission, the 15-inch steel wheels, the Bluetooth, USB, AUX, Smart media interface with a 6.5-inch touch screen, tire pressure monitoring, six-speaker audio system, front assist with city emergency brake, six airbags, ISOFIX, multi-collision brake, full size steel spare wheel, rear parking sensors and several other goodies. Next in the lineup comes the 66 TSI Wagon, priced at 17,490 AUD, which is adding the silver roof rails and the rolling cover of luggage compartment.
The 81 TSI DSG hatchback starts from 20,290 AUD and it is bringing the 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, the cruise control with the speed limiter, the front center armrest with storage and the 15-inch alloy wheels. This is followed by the 81 TSI DSG wagon, at 21,440 AUD, adding the silver roof rails and the rolling cover of luggage compartment on top of the hatchback. Some of the options available for the new Skoda Fabia include the panoramic glass sunroof, priced at 1,000 AUD, the Amundsen satellite navigation system, costing 950 AUD or the metallic / pearl effect paint which will set you back for another 500 AUD. Optional packages include the Travel Pack, available for the 66 TSI only, costing 1,300 AUD, the Travel Pack with Color Concept costing 1,600 AUD and coming on the same 66 TSI, the Sports Pack and Premium Sports Pack, available on the 81 TSI and priced at 1,200 AUD and 2,600 AUD respectively, along with the Sport Pack with Color Concept and Premium Sports Pack with Color Concept, available from 1,200 AUD and 2,600 AUD on the same variant.
