Subaru has announced the introduction of the 2016 WRX and 2016 WRX STI in Australia.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2016 Subaru WRX has a starting price of 38,990 AUD, for the manual transmission, but if the Lineatronic CVT is what you are interested in, then you should get ready to pay 40,990 AUD for it. For the WRX Premium manual, customers will have to pay 44,890 AUD, while the WRX Premium Lineatronic CVT costs 46,890 AUD. The entry-level WRX STI can be yours from 49,490 AUD while the WRX STI with the rear spoiler costs 49,790 AUD.
For the WRX STI Premium, customers will have to pay 55,390 AUD while the range-topping WRX STI Premium with the rear spoiler will be setting you back for 55,690 AUD. The WRX range is bringing the 6.2-inch touch screen infotainment system and the new 18-inch wheels, while the WRX Premium is adding the lane change assist, blind-spot monitoring, auto-dimming rearview mirror, side-view monitor, high-beam assist, rear cross-traffic alert and power-folding side mirrors. The WRX Premium is also bringing the 7.0-inch system, with new functions like the pinch zoom, Pandora compatibility and voice recognition. The 2016 Subaru WRX STI is making use of the 2.5 liter turbocharged Boxer engine, which is capable of putting down a total output of 305 HP.
