Subaru has taken the wraps off the slightly modified 2016 WRX and 2016 WRX STI as the two models are getting ready to hit dealerships across the nation.
The 2016 Subaru WRX and WRX STI have recently received a series of updates which should make them even more popular than their “predecessors”. The entry-level WRX is said to have gained a brand new STARLINK infotainment system which is getting the 6.2-inch display. The car has also been fitted with the Bluetooth, AUX, USB, HD Radio, SiriusXM satellite radio and CD player, amongst other things. Some of the safety tweaks includes the upgraded EyeSight system with the Lane Keep Assist, which is using the electric power steering to help the driver keep the car in lane. We also have to mention the new 18-inch alloy wheels for the Premium and Limited versions.
If you are expecting the same amount of changes performed to the range topping WRX STI too, for the 2016 model year, you will be disappointed but that doesn’t mean that this remained stock. According to the car manufacturer, the 2016 Subaru WRX STI is coming with a rear-spoiler, which has been added with no cost, and with the above mentioned infotainment system. The WRX STI Limited is also coming with several new features and these include the Rear Cross Traffic Alert, the Blind Spot Detection and the Keyless Access, amongst others. Subaru says that the 2016 WRX can be yours from 26,595 USD and for the 2016 WRX STI you will have to pay 34,695 USD.
