The new generation of the Toyota Hilux has been caught on camera recently with absolutely no camouflage covering its body.
The images posted below will most likely put an end to most rumors on the next generation of the Toyota Hilux because the pickup truck has been caught on camera recently, in what seems to be the parking lot of a car dealership in Thailand. This is actually happening just 24 hours before its official presentation, which has been scheduled for the 21st of May, and it can be considered as bad luck by the officials within the company and good luck by us, petrol heads.
The particular model has been spotted in two versions with the double-cab body style and this is actually the Asian version of the vehicle, but don’t expect any notable cosmetic changes for it once it will go official in other markets across the globe. Some of the features worth mentioning are the LED daytime running lights, the multifunction steering wheel, the large screen for the infotainment system or the leather upholstery. The engine range will include, in Thailand, the 2.4 liter turbo diesel unit, which will be offered in two stages of tune, with 148 HP and 165 HP, or the 2.8 liter turbo diesel, with 175 HP, along with the naturally aspirated 2.7 liter petrol burner, rated at 164 HP. Manual and automatic transmissions will be offered. More details on the pickup truck will be announced once this will be officially unveiled, on Thursday.
