Our spy photographers have managed to capture the 2016 Toyota Hilux on the road, where it was being tested out.
The Japanese based automaker Toyota is currently working out on a significant updated version of one of the most appreciated vehicles in the pick-up segment, the Hilux. The model in question has been recently spied by our photographers while it was being tested out, in Southern Europe, and despite its heavy camouflage covering its body, we can definitely see that this has a completely new design which suggests that it will not be a simple facelift but a new generation of the model.
The 2016 Toyota Hilux will be coming with a new front fascia, highlighted by the new front smaller grille which is flanked by the LED infused headlights. We can also see a sculpted hood, a familiar bed, less pronounced wheel arches and what seems to be a larger cabin. As far as the engine lineup goes, this remains a mystery, but a variety of petrol and diesel burners will be completing it. More details on the 2016 Toyota Hilux remain unknown for the moment and will probably be announced sometimes next year, when it will be finally unveiled.
