The new Toyota Prius C has been officially unveiled with the help of a special edition.
The 2016 Toyota Prius C is finally here, after is larger brother, the Prius, has received a new generation. The model in question was unveiled over the web at the moment using a special edition. Its exterior styling is remaining familiar but since this is a special edition, we can notice the black finish for its body, the striking lime green accents, privacy glass and the 8-spoke wheels. It can also be had with Cherry Pearl accents.
“Toyota gave the Prius c a major styling and interior upgrade for 2015, and so the big news for 2016 is the available Toyota Safety Sense C (TSS-C), which equips the car with an array of driver-assist technologies: Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Assist, and Automatic High Beams”, says the automaker in its press release.
Toyota says that the inside of the new Prius C is bringing the six-way adjustable driver’s seat, the two-tone fabric seats and the cruise control, amongst others. Additional changes are limited and the carmaker is offering the limited edition with a 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine, backed up by an electric motor. The total output sent to the wheels stands at 99 HP (73 kW). Only 1,500 units of the special edition will be offered and they will go on sale in December. No pricing details are known at this point.
