Several images with the 2016 Toyota Tacoma have been recently released by the carmaker, ahead of its public debut which will take place next week, at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit.
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of its first revealing images, which have been released by the company. The official pictures are showing the Double Cab body style, 4×4, finished in blue, and they are revealing the evolutionary design of the model, which might actually turn out to be a simple facelift rather than an all new one.
Speaking on this, we don’t know for sure whether the 2016 Toyota Tacoma is a brand new vehicle or just a facelift because the car manufacturer hasn’t released any technical details with it and the photo gallery posted below isn’t revealing its interior design either, so we will probably find out in Detroit whether the Tacoma is a completely new model or just a redesigned one.
As far as the engine lineup goes, we have no idea what will power it, but considering the fact that the model in question has a V6 badge, than such a unit is expected to be adopted, along with smaller four-cylinder units which will compete with the GMC Canyon and the Chevy Colorado. The 2016 Toyota Tacoma will be making its debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, on the 12th of January.
