Volkswagen has officially pulled the wraps off the 2016 Caddy as the model in question will be offered for sale starting this June.
Volkswagen’s newest creation is called the Caddy and this is an updated version of the model which is looking instantly recognizable. The utility vehicle has received a new front fascia, with restyled headlights and with a larger front grille. Te model is also coming with new styling towards the rear, where we can find the new rear bumper, the redesigned tailgate or the new taillights.
The interior design of the 2016 Volkswagen Caddy hasn’t been left unchanged either and this is where most of the modifications can be found. The vehicle is getting a new dashboard, new door panels, revised switchgear, metallic accents, a flat bottom steering wheel, Composition Media, Discover Media and Composition Color infotainment systems and several other tweaks which should be enough to put some space between it and the current version.
Under the hood, the 2016 Volkswagen Caddy will be offered with a 3-cylinder 1.0 liter TSI engine, which is god for 102 HP (75 kW), in the entry-level. If this will not be enough, you can always turn your head towards the 84 HP (62 kW) 1.2 liter TSI four-cylinder or the 1.4 liter TSI four-cylinder with 125 HP (92 kW). Diesel lovers can order the 75 HP (55 kW) to 150 HP (110 kW) ranging TDI engines. Prices for the model will start from 14,785 EUR, in its home country, and it will be launched in June.
