Another rendering with the future generation of the Volkswagen Passat CC has hit the web recently, giving us a glimpse of what the model may look like.
The development of a new generation of the Volkswagen Passat is imminent, considering the fact that the regular version of the model has been already unveiled and launched just earlier this year. The image posted above represents a simple rendering of the vehicle which has been signed by X-Tomi Design, with the Euro-spec model as a basis. We can notice the different front fascia, some other subtle changes and, of course, the lowered roofline.
The upcoming Volkswagen Passat CC is believed to ride on the same MQB platform as the regular model. The looks of the model will be influenced by those of the new Passat but expect some minor modifications too, besides the lowered roofline. The cabin will be slightly different too and in terms of engine lineup, the four-door coupe is expected to get the same units as its sedan brother. This might include the 1.4 TSI 125 HP, 2.0 TSI 180 HP, 220 HP and 280 HP along with the GTE plug-in hybrid. Diesel lineup on the regular Passat includes the 120 HP 1.6 TDI and 150 HP, 190 HP and 240 HP 2.0 TDI.
