Volkswagen has released new photos and details with the facelifted version of the Polo GTI, which will become available for order, on the Old Continent, next February.
Originally unveiled back in September, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the 2016 Volkswagen Polo GTI is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of the carmaker, which has released some new details on it and also a fresh photo gallery. The B-segment hot hatch will be coming with electronically adjustable dampers and in the 6-speed manual version, it will be burning 6.0L / 100km of fuel while emitting 139 g/km.
In the DSG 7-speed, the model will burn 5.6L / 100km and it will be emitting 129 g/km of CO2. Power is being provided by a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 192 HP (141 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. Power is being sent to the front wheels through the above mentioned transmissions. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes 6.7 seconds and top speed stands at 236 km/h (148 mph).
