The first images with the 2016 Volkswagen Sharan have been recently released as it is expected to be offered for sale in the near future.
The 2016 Volkswagen Sharan is basically a facelifted version of the model and this should make it more appealing to its future customers. The model has received two additional body colors, the Crimson Red Metallic and the Hudson Bay Blue Metallic, new Jakarat alloy wheels, LED taillights and some sharpened styling across its body.
Changes made to the MPV will not stop here as the interior design has been slightly updated too. This is bringing the newest infotainment systems signed by Volkswagen, with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the 6.5-inch Discovery Media System with navigation the 6.5-inch Composition Media setup or the 5-inch Composition Color system. The cabin has also received the new color multi function display, the new steering wheel, the 12-way adjustable seats with a massage function and several other tweaks.
Safety gizmos found on the car include the City Emergency Braking, the Blind Spot Monitor, the Adaptive Cruise Control, the Auto Hold function for the electric parking brake and that’s about all. The 1.4L TSI with 150 HP (110 kW) is available under its hood, along with the 220 HP (162 kW) 2.0 TSI and the TDIs which are producing 115 HP (85 kW), 150 HP (110 kW) and 184 HP (135 kW). The 150 HP TDI can be connected to the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, for some extra cash.
