New renderings with the recently unveiled Ford GT are showing us the brand new supercar in a Gulf livery finish.
The 2017 Ford GT has been the subject of new renderings ever since it was officially presented to the public back in January this year, during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, and now the supercar is coming back in yet some brand new images, which are showing us how it may look like in a Gulf livery. The photos posted below are just simple renderings, put together by Theophilus Chin, but we have to admit that the American supercar finished like this looks simply wonderful.
The brand new Ford GT remains a one-off vehicle at the moment but the final production variant will be exactly the same. The supercar has been developed in a basement in order to be kept a secret but the final version will be out in late next year, which means that it will be offered as a 2017 model year. The new Ford GT has an evolutionary design and it is using a V6 mid-mounted twin turbo under its hood, which is capable of producing a total output of 600 HP (447 kW), sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. No performance details have been released on the supercar at this time and we have no clue how much this will cost once it will make its way into dealerships.
