A new rendering with the recently unveiled 2017 Ford GT is showing the newest supercar in a Martini livery finish.
After being officially presented to the public during the 2015 North American International Auto Show and being envisioned in a roadster body style, time has come for the brand new 2017 Ford GT to be rendered in what is probably the most appealing finish seen of it so far. The image posted above is showing us what the model will look like in a Martini livery finish and for you motorsport enthusiasts out there, we don’t even need to tell you what this is all about.
The new generation of the Ford GT has an evolutionary design which is making it look instantly recognizable. The model in question is getting the revised graphics and lighting units and several other tweaks which will differentiate it from models currently found on the streets. Ford has been limited on providing performance specifications on its newest supercar, but the model will be packing in a twin turbo V6 engine, which will be producing a total output of 600 HP (447 kW), according to the company.
The unit will be sending its power to the rear-wheel drive, through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Considering the significant downsizing of the engine, we can dare to say that this will be a lot more economical than the one found on the current supercar. The new Ford GT will be hitting the production line sometimes next year, which is making it a 2017 model year vehicle.
