For the first time ever the hatchback version of the Civic is also available in the United States, priced from $20,535 for the 2017 model year, with the most interesting versions being the Sport and Sport Touring.
The 2017 Honda Civic Hatch is becoming available at dealerships throughout the US at a starting price of $20,535 (after $835 destination for all models) if the new owner goes for the base LX trim with a six-speed manual box, while the CVT will kick off at $21,355. Anyone looking for more should go towards the new Sport and Sport Touring versions, which even have visual cues such as the center-mounted twin exhaust pipes. Any version of the Civic Hatchback uses the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which can be had with 174 hp on regular versions or with 180 hp on the Sport and Sport Touring.
The Sport trim goes for $22,135 with a manual or $22,935 with the CVT and have upgrades such as leather upholstery for the steering wheel and gearshift. Moving on to the Sport Touring we can tell you it will appear later on and Honda hasn’t announced the pricing details yet, though we know the only gearbox available is the CVT. The trim has new features such as automatic windshield wipers, heated seats for the front and rear, dual-zone climate control, and a 12-speaker stereo.
