The powertrain options for the 2017 Continental include the 3.7-liter V6 for the Premiere (the only choice) and Select – but the latter can also be had with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 for an extra $2,250. The Reserve and the Black Label will come from the start using the turbocharged 2.7-liter and these trims will also be available for more money with the new 400-hp, 3.0-liter V6, an upgrade costing an additional $3,265. No matter the engine or trim, Lincoln is also allowing the choice of an optional all-wheel drive for $2,000.
Trim dependant, Lincoln has also prepared a series of optional packs. The Select Plus ($1,255) for the entry-level will boast a SYNC3 infotainment system and blind-spot monitoring. The other three can be had with a Climate Pack that costs $695 and brings rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats. For the same three trims the Technology Package will cost $3,105 and pack adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, and enhanced active park assist. The top of the range option is the Rear-Seat Pack for the Reserve and Black Label trims, going for $4,300 and bringing heated, cooled, multi-contour rear seats, panoramic sunroof, and inflatable rear seatbelts. The final choice is the Luxury Package available for the Reserve trim worth $5,000 and adding 19-speaker Revel sound system and LED headlights.
