The German based automaker Porsche is planning to launch the Pajun model in late 2016 or early 2017 and the model is expected to get V6 engines.
The fact that Porsche is planning to develop a smaller version of the Panamera isn’t a surprise to anyone anymore but what comes as “something new” is the fact that the German carmaker is planning to launch it onto the market in late 2016 or early 2017. The Porsche Pajun will probably be powered by a variety of V6 engines, including a 3.0 TDI V6 with 260 HP and 320 HP and a 3.0 V6 petrol with 320 HP an 420 HP.
Besides the engines mentioned above, the Porsche Pajun is also expected to get a Turbo version which should come with 520 HP and 502 lb-ft of torque (680 Nm). The Porsche Pajun, or the “baby Panamera”, will be a direct rival for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, for the BMW 5-Series and for the Audi A6 and it will ride on the MSB platform. The model will come as a five-door hatchback and as a shooting brake with a longer roofline and a third side window. More details on the Porsche Pajun are expected to be announced over the following years.
