There are also carbon fiber mirror caps, front and air breather trim side grilles and even an M Performance coilover suspension with red springs and adjustable spring plates.

The M5 retains the powerful biturbo 4.4-liter V8 engine good for 600 hp so taking care of stopping power are new carbon ceramic brakes with racing-derived brake pads. Next up is the M Performance sports exhaust system, which is actually exclusive to the United States and Canada – made out of titanium and with optional carbon fiber tips. Design distinctions include the body stripes in the M colors, a carbon fiber engine cover and in the cockpit you can have a new steering wheel with a mix of Alcantara and carbon fiber – the latter also present on the shift paddles and the gear shift lever.
