The Bavarian automaker has checked in at the SEMA show with a special one of a kind M3 30 Years American Edition, an M5 M Performance parts and a lovely 440i with both M Performance and BMW Individual mods – and now it’s time for a taste of the flagship.
So let’s take a look at the 7 Series in the 740e version, meaning we’re dealing with one frugal plug in hybrid. The fullsize executive sedan is also boasting a raft of M Performance parts for the exterior, along with a bonanza of BMW Individual components on the inside. Anything you want, they have it, from blacked-out kidney grille over the sportier bumper to carbon fiber mirror caps, 21 inch wheels with blue calipers over the M Sport brakes and a glossy black finish for the “hockey stick”. Along with discrete M Performance-branded side skirts comes a subtle trunk lid spoiler.
Move inside and you’ll find BMW Individual’s Merino leather upholstery in Fiona Red for the seats, lower half of the dashboard and the door panels. There’s also the fashionable piano black trim, along with a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system and the rear-seat entertainment system, among others. At the same event BMW has also brought something more appropriate for an outdoors day – a new X3 with a raft of original accessories – from bicycle racks to dual-tone alloy wheels, and BMW-branded valve caps.
