2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is for the early or late commuter with Midnight And Dusk Editions image

The 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is certainly not the first choice when commuting – but then again maybe your daily drive includes moments when you go over the hills and far away…

Anyways, the Colorado ZR2 does seem to have arrived prepared for Halloween with two new costumes – the blacked-out Midnight and Dusk Edition models. First off, the Midnight Edition is the darker of two with an all-black theme: black exterior paint, bowtie emblems, and 17-inch five-spoke wheels. The ZR2 Midnight Edition is also gaining a black sport bar with LED lighting on the top and ZR2 logos on the sail panels. The Midnight Edition is exclusively sold with a black exterior finish, while the ZR2 Dusk Edition is available with any choice of color from the regular ZR2 range, all the while sporting all the visual flourishes of its black counterpart.

The Midnight Edition is of course a well-known addition of the Chevrolet range, already available on the regular Colorado – although it’s making its debut for the first time on the ZR2, version. Naturally both new special editions use the design cues of the aggressive body of the ZR2, and still have the same off-road capabilities. The two editions have no mechanical changes – the ZR2 features an increased ride height, Multimatic DSSV dampers, electronic locking front and rear differentials, aluminum skid plates, and off-road rocker protection. Both editions will be featured in front of the public at the 2017 SEMA show on October 30.
