2018 Honda Jazz facelift revealed for Europe image

The refreshed compact car from Japan is going to make its official worldwide debut in front of the audience of the Frankfurt Motor Show and then reach dealerships this November, complete with a new version.

Honda has decided a new, higher-performance gasoline engine option should accompany the debut, to bode well with the new Sport trim line. In terms of visual changes, the most obvious modifications happened at the front, where the Jazz now looks more in line with the latest and greatest from the brand – the Civic hatchback. The new ‘Solid Wing Face’ grille is joined by a new LED running light pattern in the headlights – while both bumpers have been modified and there’s also a new body color called Skyride Blue. The new Sport trim line includes gloss black 16-inch alloys, a front bumper aero splitter, triple-strake rear diffuser and some red detailing.

Other goodies include front fog lamps, side skirts and a trunk lid spoiler, along with standard LED headlights. Moving to the interior, the Jazz Sport comes with bespoke pinstripe seats, orange stitching for the leather steering wheel and gearknob, while the Magic Seat system is standard and you get in loads of up to 2.5 meters in length. The 100-hp 1.3-liter i-VTEC petrol engine soldiers on unchanged, but the Sport is fitted with a new 128 hp 1.5-liter petrol variant, complete with 124 g/km CO2 emissions.
