2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition is a modern classic image

This new special edition of the Nissan sports car has been designed and developed with a soul purpose in mind – celebrate the classic 240Z’s upcoming 50 years anniversary.

Nissan’s other well-known and ubiquitous sports car – aside from the GT-R – is naturally the Z series, now at the 370 designation. The Japanese automaker has decided to revisit it now in order to give buyers the choice of yet another limited version – the Heritage Edition is actually a trim package that can be ordered alongside the Chicane Yellow or Magnetic Black hues with some bespoke graphics. The yellow version will also be granted black mirror caps whereas both have a yellow interior theme. The Heritage Edition will also include other minor updates coming from the 370Z Coupe 2018 model year – new headlights and rear combination lights, black trim on the lower rear fascia between the exhaust tips, smoked chrome door handles, and a new high-performance Exedy clutch when selecting the six-speed manual transmission.

Meanwhile, power is still provided via the 332-horsepower V6 and there’s an optional 7-speed automatic. “Over the past five decades there have been a number of special Z trim packages that have added a sense of customization straight off the showroom floor,” said Michael Bunce, vice president Nissan North America. “The new 2018 370Z Heritage Edition honors that tradition, blending it with the modern design and performance of the 2018 370Z.
