Mercedes-Benz Türk, a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG, won the tender initiated by IETT (Istanbul Electricity, Tramway and Tunnel General Managemen).
221 new Mercedes-Benz Conecto articulated low-floor city buses will become part of the existing 3,000 vehicles fleet.

The articulated city bus tender agreement which we have signed today is also a new stage within the history of IETT.

The buses have a five-year warranty and will be delivered by September 2012. Mercedes-Benz Türk will be responsible for the maintenance during this warranty period.
The vehicles have three 19-inch LCD monitors, eight cameras, 155 seats, and meet the EU’s environmental standard Euro V thanks to its BlueTec diesel technology.
