A new promotional video with the top-of-the-line version of the new mid-size sedan made by Jaguar, the XE S, has been released by the British based automaker.
In case you were wondering what happened to the marketing of the new Jaguar XE, especially in its range topping XE S version, the answer would be “don’t worry, we’ve got you covered”, as the company has recently released a new promotional video with the car. The performance mid-size sedan is roaring its engine in the new clip but don’t expect some hot driving footage because you may be disappointed.
The Jaguar XE has been officially presented to the public during the Geneva Motor Show, back in 2014, and this is currently being put together in Solihull, West Midlands. The model is offered in a four-door body style, with a front-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, standing in at 4,672 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and 1,416 mm tall, with a 2,835 mm long wheelbase.
Jaguar has prepared the XE as a rival for the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class and, in its current range-topping version, the XE S, this is packing a 3.0 liter V6 petrol engine under its hood, rated at 335 HP (250 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.1 seconds and a top speed which has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Rumor has it that a new XE SVR will be rivaling the M3, C63 AMG and RS4.
