Nissan’s luxury division Infiniti is planning to launch the new generation of the G37 in spring 2013.
Even if the Japanese based car manufacturer didn’t announce anything official on this subject for the moment, price the guys at insideline.com are saying that an executive working with Nissan has told them that the next generation of the Infiniti G37 will hit the market in spring 2013. Our source is also saying that the model will use engine made in partnership with Mercedes-Benz and the upcoming Infiniti G37 is also expected to have quite a lot in common with the future C-Class, hospital like its platform and some other features.
As a quick reminder, the Infiniti G Coupe has been in production since 2007, when it was officially presented to the public at the New York International Auto Show, going on sale as a 2008 model. The model has been given the new 3.7 liter V6 engine with 330 HP. The G35 sedan was replaced by the G37 sedan in 2009 and the model made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show for the European market. The exterior, interior and options remained the same as the 2008 G35 but the sedan has also been equipped with the 3.7 liter V6 unit. More details on the upcoming G37 will be announced later on this year.
