Chrysler has recently prepared the 30th Anniversary Editions for the Dodge Grand Caravan and for the Chrysler Town & Country, which have received some interesting upgrades.
The Dodge Grand Caravan and the Chrysler Town & Country have been on sale ever since 1983 and the company has decided to celebrate their 30 years of existence by preparing two special editions of the models. The 30th Anniversary Edition of the Dodge Grand Caravan is available for the SXT models and it’s coming with side roof rails, fog lights, heated side mirrors, Black Torino leatherette wrapped seats, silver stitching, piano black accents, tri-zone climate control and some other tweaks.
“Just as the first Chrysler Group minivans came off the line 30 years ago, the made-in-Canada 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country 30th Anniversary Editions provide present day families with unmatched versatility and the most innovative features on four wheels”, said the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada, Reid Bigland.
The model in question is coming with a 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar engine, which is good for 283 HP (211 kW), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Chrysler Town & Country 30th Anniversary Edition is being offered with the same engine and gearbox and it’s finished in a Granite Crystal Metallic Pearl paint scheme. In the cabin, we can find Nappa seat bolsters, black Alcantara seat inserts, heated first and second row of seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and power folding third row seats.
