3.2% Domestic Car Sales Growth for Indonesia in January image

Indonesia’s domestic car sales met a 3.2% year on year rise in January, which represents a slow down of growth after sales rebounded to a 14.7 percent rise in December from a fall in November.

Sales in January represented 76,370 units, compared to 73,987 in 2011, the main selling companies being Daihatsu, Toyota and Mitsubishi. Domestic car sales were affected by the 2011 Thailand floods and met a fall of 2.3% year on year in November.
