A Jaguar XFR equipped with a 5 liter V8 engine has been offered to the Romanian Police for six months after a contract signed with Premium Auto.
The all-new Jaguar XFR which has recently entered the Romanian Police vehicle lineup is the most powerful ever to be driven by the employees of the Internal Ministry but it isn’t the fastest because this title is still held by the Lotus Evora S last year. According to the partnership between the Romanian Police and Jaguar isn’t the first one in history because 40 years ago, the officials have bought several XJ models for special interventions.
The Jaguar XFR in question has been produced in 2010 and it’s coming with a 5-liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 510 horsepower. The impressive British vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h. The Jaguar XFR had a starting price of 100,000 euros, VAT included, when it was new and the cost didn’t include the additional features added to it. The Romanian Police, who didn’t pay anything for this car, will use it on the A1, A2 and A3 highways and it’s estimated that in the six months of the contract, the vehicle will do 15,000 to 20,000 km.
