The French based automaker Renault has released a teaser image for a so-called Sport Trophy vehicle, which will come with an impressive 500 HP.
Renault is currently on the wave with introducing new models and breaking the world record for front-wheel drive production cars on the Nordschleife and it seems that the company will not stop here as it will soon unveil a new hot vehicle. The model in question is named the Renault Sport Trophy and it will go official this August, during the Moscow Motor Show.
“Renault Sport Technologies’ latest creation, the Renault Sport Trophy show car, will shortly be unveiled. Boasting a uniquely stunning design – the first indication of its exceptional performance – the car will be unveiled to the media and the public at the Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS), which runs from 27 August to 7 September”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The new Renault Sport Trophy will come with a carbon fiber monocoque made by Dalara and the engine will be provided by Nismo and it will produce more than 500 HP (373 kW). The unit will be connected to a 7-speed sequential transmission, signed by Sadev. Tires will be created by Michelin. The vehicle will have a sloping roofline and a large fixed rear wing, having a total weight of 1,100 kg (2,425 lbs). More details on it will be announced at the Russian automotive event.
