Ferrari 458 Italia completely destroyed in New York

A Ferrari 458 Italia supercar has been recently totaled in New York after a high speed roll over on the highway.

Where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes, this is what we’ve always said here on inautonews.com and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from New York, where a Ferrari 458 Italia has definitely seen better days. According to Wrecked Exotics, this is one of the most destroyed 458 Italia supercars out there, probably except for those which spontaneously combusted. The model in question has been involved in a high speed rollover accident on a highway in New York. No details on what happened to the driver or on other vehicles involved have been released.

As a small reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is replacing the old Ferrari F430. The 458 Italia was officially presented to the public back in 2009, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the supercar has been designed by Pininfarina.
