The first images with the Toyota GT86 in Sedan and Shooting Brake body styles have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into two possible versions of the model.
The Japanese based automaker Toyota has been recently rumored to develop new body styles of the GT86 and after we have seen the Open Concept just a few weeks ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, time has come to meet the Sedan and Shooting Brake. The two images posted below are actually renderings but they might provide us with a first look into two new body styles, which might make their way onto the market over the following years.
If they will indeed make their way onto the production line, than the Toyota GT86 Sedan and GT86 Shooting Brake will share the same engine used on the Coupe and Roadster, the 2.0 liter boxer unit developed by Subaru and fitted with the company’s D-4D direct injection system. The engine is producing a total output of 200 HP at 7,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), available at 6,600 rpm, sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
