The first rendering with the Kia Pro_Cee’d GT Cabrio has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into what can become a final production version of the hot hatch.
The South Korean based automaker Kia didn’t announce any plans involving a convertible version of the Pro_Cee’d GT, but that doesn’t mean that the model doesn’t stand a chance in catching the production line. The image posted above is a rendering of the Kia Pro_Cee’d GT Cabrio which is maintaining the same lines as its solid roof brother and it will also keep the engine, if it will get the green light.
As a quick reminder, the Kia Pro_Cee’d GT s coming with an aggressive body kit, with new bumpers, a revised front grille, a dual exhaust system, 18-inch alloy wheels, Recaro seats, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster and much more. Power to the model is being provided by a 1.6 liter GDi turbo engine, producing 204 HP (150 kW) and 265 Nm of torque (195 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h.
