A.R.T. has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creations, two new upgrade packages for the Mercedes-Benz G63 and G65 AMG.
The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, in its high-performance versions, the G63 and the G65 AMG, is being placed into the spotlights once again, with the help of A.R.T., which has decided that the two models don’t have enough power. According to the company, the G63 AMG has received high-flow catalytic converters, extra cooling for the engine, fuel circuit and transmission and a reprogrammed ECU, and the total output of the 5.5 liter V8 has increased from 536 HP (400 kW) to 681 HP (508 kW).
The same upgrades have been applied to its more muscular brother, the G65 AMG, where the 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine can now produce a total output of 749 HP (558 kW) from the standard 603 HP (450 kW), with the torque figure being electronically limited to 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). A wide body kit has also been added to the two models, which includes new front bumper with a spoiler, more air intakes, aero engine hood with bi-color design and more. The G-Class is riding on 22×10-inch wheels wrapped in 295/35 tires. No pricing details for these upgrades have been announced yet.
