A slew of British royalty cars are going under the hammer in November image

If you’re a passionate collector of British autos you’re in for a treat – an auction next month will have a dozen of those up for grabs, with the added panache of being part of the British royal garage.

Bentley and Rolls-Royce models once used by Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II, as well as other members of the royal family are heading for the auction taking place November 12 and 13, during the Silverstone Auctions Classic Motor Show. If you also like celebrity connections, you can have for example a 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom used by Sir Elton John. Or you could have a 2012 Bentley Mulsanne created specifically for the Queen and finished in a special Barnato Green, and estimated anywhere between £215,000-£235,000 ($264,000-$289,000).

Classic car collectors might go for the 1980 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II which was hand built in 1980 per the request of Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret Rose. Another option is the 1976 Bentley T1 – used back in the day by Robert Michael Winner, a renowned film director and restaurant critic. We already mentioned in an earlier story about Princess Diana’s Gomera Pearl Audi Cabriolet, but we could also direct your attention to a lovely 1972 Fiat 500L – bought by Prime Minister David Cameron as a surprise birthday present for his wife Samantha.
