Fiat will soon introduce a special edition of the 500, the Abarth 595 50th Anniversary, in Australia, where the model in question will be priced from 45,000 AUD.
Some of the styling tweaks found on the Abarth 595 50th Anniversary Edition include the red Abarth scorpion decals, the 17-inch alloy wheels with red lining, the xenon headlights or the three-layer paintwork. The cabin of the model has now gained sports seats, a black leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, an Interscope stereo system, climate control, rear parking sensors and a sunroof, amongst others.
All of these can be yours if you pay at least 45,000 AUD, which basically means 10 AUD more than the standard car. The model is taking its power from a 1.4 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 118 kW and it has a peak torque of 230 Nm. The unit is only connected to a 5-speed robotized transmission with paddle shifters. Fiat says that the Abarth 595 50th Anniversary Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 7 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 225 km/h.
