Abarth has recently announced its plans to introduce the 595 50th Anniversary Edition next week, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a premiere.
Fiat’s performance division Abarth is also getting ready for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and with the German automotive event opening its gates on the 10th of September, the company has recently announced its plans to officially unveil the 595 50th Anniversary Edition. The model in question is celebrating the original 595, which was introduced at the 1963 Turin Motor Show, and it’s coming with some interesting upgrades.
The Abarth 595 50th Anniversary Edition is coming with matte white paint, a retro-inspired exterior design, historic Abarth logos, handmade graphics, xenon headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof and some other tweaks, which should make it more appealing. The sporty design is also continued in the cabin where we can find the red trim, alloy pedals, a flat bottomed steering wheel, metallic accents, red contrast stitching, two-tone sports seats and more. Power to the model is provided by a 1.4 liter T-Jet engine, which is good for 180 HP (132 kW). Only 299 units of the Abarth 595 50th Anniversary Edition will be produced. No pricing detals have been announced yet.
