Abarth has officially announced a series of updates, along with a boost in performance, for the 595 Competizione.
If you were looking for adding the Abarth 595 Competizione into your garage, than you will be glad that you’ve waited until now because the company has recently announced a series of updates for it, along with a boost in performance. According to Abarth, the updated 595 Competizione is now getting features such as the Record Monza exhaust system, the red brake calipers of the Brembo brakes and the 17-inch alloy wheels, covering them. The small car is also getting the xenon headlights, the rear parking sensors, the sabelt sport seats and the aluminum pedals, all of them coming in as standard.
The “new” Abarth 595 Competizione is also offered with some interesting options, including the Interscope audio system with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, the electric glass sunroof, the leather sports seats, the exterior color and stripe choices, the different choices for the alloy wheels and so on. In case you have been wondering what is found under its hood, the answer is simple, the same configuration as before but with 20 HP more. The total output now stands at 180 HP and this basically means that from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 6.7s, compared to the previous time of 7.4 seconds. Top speed has increased too from 210 km/h (130 mph) to 225 km/h (139 mph). The cheapest version of the car starts from 19,890 GBP, on-the-road, while the Cabrio can be yours from 21,890 GBP.
