Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati going to Geneva image

The Italian based company Abarth has recently announced that the 695 Tributo Maserati will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.

According to Abarth, the 695 Tributo is actually a Fiat 500C tribute special edition for Maserati, just like the 695 Tributo Ferrari. The Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati will be available in just 499 units and it’s coming with a special three-stage clearcoat color named the Pontevecchio Bordeaux, along with features like electrically controlled soft top, xenon headlights sand beige upholstery and Poltrona Frau leather on the inside, the “695” number printed on the headrest. Black leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals, sill plates and the “Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati” graphics.

Under the hood, the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati is powered by a 1.4 liter Turbo T-Jet 16 valve engine which is developing a total output of 180 horsepower and it’s mated to an electrically-operated manual Abarth Competizione transmission with steering wheel mounted paddles. The suspension system has been upgraded and the modl is now sitting on 17 inch Neptun alloy wheels made by Maserati, the brakes are made by Brembo, the shock absorbers have been upgraded and the exuast is coming with variable back-pressure “dual mode” volume control system with the hexagonal shaped tips, just like Maserati models.
