Hinting at the years of existence, Abarth has decided to limit the special edition to just 65 units, with information pointing out the limited model will only be offered in the UK, with a 14,990 pounds price tag.
All the 500 Custom Track Package units will feature the Record Grey Metallic exterior paint scheme with yellow brake calipers, satin steel dual exhaust pipes and Diamond Finish ten-spoke 17-inch alloy rims.
“Now is the time for anyone who has been thinking of owning an Abarth 500 to buy one,” says Gerry Southerington, head of brand, Abarth UK. “As well as the extra equipment and superb value for money, customers can enjoy a track day experience they certainly won’t forget. And the top race circuits on offer will allow these new owners to fully appreciate the dynamic abilities of Abarth cars in their natural environment.”
There are some nice interior amenities, like a rear privacy glass, a new seven-inch TFT instrument panel and sport seats. Power comes from the well-known 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that delivers 135 bhp (101 kW) and 206 Nm (152 lb-ft), snatching a 0-100 km/h run in 7.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 127 mph (204 km/h). The limited run will also feature the Abarth Track Experience that allows owners to race their cars on famous British racetracks, such as Donington Park, Brands Hatch and Oulton Park.
