Abarth’s tuned models get their own tuning courtesy of Alpha-N Performance image

Tuning the tuner is an interesting choice, but here we have the Abarth 500 family tuned by Alpha-N Performance receiving a power lift to… well, enhance performance.

Fiat is already selling the refreshed 500 after presenting it way back in July of 2015 and Abarth looks ready to deliver its own modified roster as we have heard from the rumor mill. But before that happens, there’s a crop of owners (ok, not so many, with Abarth being a specialty marquee) that might feel ready to give up their vehicles to the tuning specialists from Alpha-N Performance. That’s because the aftermarket company has developed several performance kits for the current Abarth 500 family and even for the mainstream Fiat 500 versions. Starting off we have the EVOX pack that will retail for €699 and fitted to the Abarth 500 will increase power from the standard 40 hp and 206 Nm to 170 hp and 238 Nm. Next up is the 595 Turismo which is shaken up from 160 hp and 230 Nm to 199 hp and 239 Nm. The sporty 595 Competizione will also go from the regular 180 hp and 250 Nm to 201 hp and 296 Nm.

The flagship model is the Abarth 695 Biposto, with Alpha-N Performance carefully taking the turbocharged 1.4-liter engine (the same engine is used across the entire range) to 214 hp and 296 Nm, a good increase from the regular 190 hp and 250 Nm. Aside from the power increases, Alpha-N Performance has also prepared a sports exhaust system on the 695 Biposto that also comes neatly packed with a KW Variant 1 coilover suspension and 17-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera alloys with 205/40 ZR17 tires.

Poor UK brethren stuck at 214 bhp. We are blessed with tuners given us 265Whp out of the multiair here in the US.
