The aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently announced their plans to introduce an upgrade package for the brand new Volkswagen Golf GTI MK7.
After it was officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the brand new Volkswagen Golf GTI is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of the guys at ABT Sportsline. According to the tuning company, the new Golf GTI will soon receive an upgrade package which should make it even hotter than the standard car.
ABT Sportsline says that the new Golf GTI will get a white exterior finish with red accents and a new body kit, made out of a new front spoiler, headlight covers, a new front grille, new side skirts, updated mirror caps, a new rear skirt insert, a trunk lid attachment and more. The Golf 7 GTI by ABT will also receive a lowering suspension system, quad-pipe exhaust system and 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. Two power boost stages will be available for the model in which Stage 1 will come with 270 HP (199 kW) and Stage 2 will increase the total output to 310 HP (228 kW).
