The famous aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently announced their plans to introduce a new AS6 to the 2013 SEMA Motor Show, which will officially open its gates next month.
ABT Sportsline is getting ready to launch a subsidiary in the United States, in Cerritos, California, next year, and in order to mark the event, the tuning company has recently announced its plans to officially take part in the 2013 SEMA Motor Show with an AS6. The model in question is actually based on the Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro, which has received a styling package, highlighted by the new side skirts, rear bumper insert, front spoiler, rear spoiler, faux carbon fiber mirror caps and some other tweaks.
The new ABT Sportsline AS6 has also received some high performance braking system, along with sport springs and a fresh set of 20-inch ABT ER-C alloy wheels. The 3.0 liter TDI engine found under its hood can now produce an extra 41 HP (30 kW) and 98 Nm (72 lb-ft) of torque, thanks to some upgrades, to a total of 286 HP (210 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. Additional details on the AS6 made by ABT Sportsline will be announced at SEMA.
