After presenting its new kit for the hot 1M Series Coupe, the German aftermarket specialists at AC Schnitzer decided to get their hands on the new 640i Cabrio with the BMW logo on it and give it more power and upgraded design.
The German tuner says that the new BMW 640i Convertible’s engine is now delivering 540 horsepower compared to the stock 407, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
The case is exactly like its smaller brother, the BMW 1M Series Coupe, getting the same braking system and adjustable suspension, which improves both the handling of the car as well as the aesthetics.
The BMW 640i Convertible is now sitting on 21 inch lightweight alloy rims, wrapped in high performance tires, and has a restyled front fascia and new rear skirt, while the interior has also received some goodies.
AC Schnitzer has announced its presence at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the BMW 640i Convertible so more details about it will be made tomorrow, when the 64th edition of the German event will officially open its gates.
