AC Schnitzer modifies BMW 3-Series Touring image

The German aftermarket specialists at AC Schnitzer have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a new tuning program for the new generation of the BMW 3-Series Touring.

Even if the all-new BMW 3-Series Touring hasn’t been around for a long time and the model has actually been officially revealed just a few months ago, AC Schnitzer has decided to make it more appealing and it’s now offering an upgrade package for the model. The new tuning kit provided by AC Schnitzer for the BMW 3-Series Touring is adding a revised grille, extended rear skirt, 18-, 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels, a sports exhaust system and some lowering springs.

The tuning company didn’t release any interior images but it seems that future owners of this upgrade package will get the aluminum iDrive cover, along with a variety of gear knobs, alloy pedals and velour floor mats. AC Schnitzer has also played with the company’s engines and the 318d can now produce a total output of 171 HP (126 kW), the 320d is now generating 218 HP (160 kW), the 328i, which is under development, will get 294 HP (216 kW) while the 335i, which is also being upgraded as we speak, will develop 360 HP (265 kW).
