A new styling program for the BMW i8 has been introduced recently by AC Schnitzer.
The aftermarket specialists from AC Schnitzer have officially pulled the wraps off their newest creation, a new styling program for the BMW i8, so if you happen to own such a model and you think that it may need some tweaks made to it, then you have come to the right place, because the tuning company is offering just this.
“The BMW i8 is revolutionizing its vehicle class as the first sports car to have the fuel consumption and emission values of a small car. Now thanks to AC Schnitzer, this revolution is being followed by another: the AC Schnitzer special equipment for the BMW i8 emphasizes even more clearly the sporting performance and innovative design of the powerful, environmentally-friendly coupe”, said AC Schnitzer in its press release.
This particular example of the BMW i8 is now getting a more aggressive appearance, a styling package with a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber rear wing, carbon fiber side skirts and several other goodies. AC Schnitzer says that the model in question has been also equipped with the lowering springs, which can reduce the ride height by 25 mm up front and 20 mm at the rear. The 21-inch AC1 forged alloy wheels are here to complete the looks of the car and are said to be 30 percent lighter than the standard units. Images with the interior haven’t been released at this time but the tuner says to have installed the velour floor mats and the aluminum pedals. No power boost is available.
