Acura and Honda have just announced their plans to introduce two new concept cars during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, later on this month.
“Honda Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. today announced that Honda and Acura will exhibit the world premiere of two concept models at the Auto Shanghai 2013”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the two concept cars will preview an upcoming production model which will be offered in China, in the nearby future. Rumors are saying that this might be a new MPV, possibly a Chinese version of the Odyssey’s new generation, seen during the 2013 New York Auto Show, just last month, but it might as well be an Acura compact crossover aimed towards the B- or the C-segment. The two concept cars, signed by Acura and Honda, are both adopting a sloping roofline, muscular wheel arches, a roof-mounted spoiler, large alloy wheels and some other tweaks, which might be adopted onto the final production version of the model. Additional details on the two Acura and Honda concept cars will be announced during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, on the 20th of April.
